Chresten Sommer's designs should appeal to all genders and all ages. His designs follow several rules: they have to be simple, accentuate the aesthetics of wood and combine nature with sweet and childish expressions - and of course always be hand-turned.

It is crucial to him that his characters have the right proportions and the right expression. He is only satisfied when he feels that this is his best design so far. It has always been the craft, and using his hands, that attracted him. And it was the fascination with the craft that 15 years ago led him to make wooden designs as a hobby.

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.

The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

Description

The City Mouse is a cute animal figurine ready to adorn your home.

It is designed by the talented animal designer Chresten Sommer for Spring Copenhagen.

This fine figurine is made of oak and his paws are in thermo ash, while his tail and ears are made of cowhide. This gives him an incredibly lifelike expression, allowing you to change his look and posture. The figurine is hand-assembled and hand-made.

And if you like to have small mice around, you can add the small lying Country Mouse (sold separately).

The City/Country Mouse is not a toy and is not to be used by children. It is a unique handmade and hand-assembled product in wood and there may be some minor variations from product to product. Clean it with a damp cloth. For better finish and maintenance use beeswax occasionally on all Spring Copenhagen wooden products.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
