Description

The Strata Vase - designed by Simone Brewster for Areaware - is composed with an array of layered and stacked shapes.

Its design takes cues from Simone Brewster’s first jewelry collection and broader studio practice. By drawing upon a rich history of sculptural objects found in her heritage, she hopes to create designs that fill one’s space with a sense of self and individual power.

Simone Brewster is a London-based artist and designer who creates large scale, statement, sculptural furniture, objets d'art, and jewelry. She holds a degree in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art. Across media, her collections explore “intimate architectures,” the relationship that texture and three-dimensional form has on memory and emotion, drawing on architectural principles throughout. As part of the African Diaspora, her work marries the European influences of her education with an aesthetic understanding of her Caribbean heritage, bridging the gap between these two histories.

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €59.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Shipping to most EU countries costs a flat rate of €9.90 and is free of charge for orders over €85. All shipping details

How can I return products?

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
