How much are the shipping costs?
Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.
The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.
Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Most sunglasses are made for a specific face type – and the Andy is for everyone else. At 144 mm frame width, a 25 mm bridge and 47 mm lens width, it’s the most generous frame in Barner’s round range. The 25 mm bridge is the widest in the entire Barner collection – which means the Andy fits nose profiles where most other frames slip, sit too high, or pinch. Glossy TR-90 frame, polarised 7-layer TAC lenses, Category 3, UV400. Available in Black and Patchwork.

Some people have tried dozens of sunglasses and never found a pair that stays put without pinching. Usually the culprit is the bridge: most frames are built with 15–18 mm bridges sized for narrower nose profiles. Anyone with a slightly wider nose knows the problem: the frame sits too high, slides forward, or leaves marks. The Andy solves it with a 25 mm bridge – the widest in the Barner range. Why TR-90 makes a large frame work
Large frames have a specific problem when they’re rigid: they press at the temples and become uncomfortable over time. TR-90, the thermoplastic polyamide that Barner uses, has memory-flex properties: it gives slightly under pressure and returns to its original shape, rather than holding stiff or snapping. That means the Andy’s generous proportions stay comfortable through long days. At approximately 25g total, it’s noticeably lighter than acetate frames of the same size. It’s also completely hypoallergenic – no nickel, no plasticisers – suitable for sensitive skin and full-day wear.
What polarised lenses do that ordinary dark lenses don’t
Anyone who has cycled into a low sun or driven across a wet road knows that regular dark lenses don’t fully solve the problem: the light still bounces off horizontal surfaces – wet asphalt, puddles, car windscreens – and forces the eyes into a squint. Polarised lenses block that reflected horizontal light specifically. The 7-layer TAC lenses in the Andy include a polarisation filter that eliminates 82% of light intensity (Category 3: 8–18% transmittance).
