The Arctic wildlife is full of impressive creatures. When Arne Tjomsland read books about the Arctic regions as a child, it sparked a lifelong fascination with the area's wildlife.

The fascination was clearly expressed in this figurine, designed by Arne Tjomsland in 1955.

Now this majestic animal, which usually frolics in the cold, can enjoy pride of place in your home.

It takes talent to create an accurate portrait using only design. So there’s no doubt about Arne Tjomsland's talent when you look at his portrait of the polar bear. Here, it is the design itself that gives the figurine its character, which still appears perfectly formed and lifelike. With its soft, playful outline, the polar bear is also a pleasure to both look at and touch.

The Polar Bear is made of FSC®-certified oak. It is available in natural oak and white.

Maintenance: The Polar Bear is not a toy and is not to be used by children. It is a unique handmade product in wood and there may be some minor variations from product to product. Clean it with a damp cloth. For better finish and maintenance use beeswax occasionally on all our wooden products.

All later orders on working days, which only contain products that can be delivered immediately, will be dispatched on the following working day

Products that can be delivered immediately will usually be with you within 4-6 working days.

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €59.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Shipping to most EU countries costs a flat rate of €9.90 and is free of charge for orders over €85. All shipping details

How can I return products?

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
