Description

The large Oros grater from EAトCO is an elegant update of one of the traditional Japanese kitchen tools.

The grater is not slotted and excess juice can be easily drained by tilting it slightly. The teeth are generously sized to prevent food residue from sticking, making cleaning very easy.

In 1540, François Boullier invented a cheese grater that allowed him to "grind hard cheese without any loss". Since then, kitchen graters have been used all over Europe and the USA, but they are often difficult to use and operate or are very clunky. The Japanese version of such a grater is known as "Oroshigane". Originally a tinned metal sheet with small spikes that were punched out of the sheet and protruded upwards - almost like sandpaper and a mass product not only in Japanese kitchens.

The Oros kitchen grater by EAトCO from Japan is a modern and simplified version of a traditional Oroshigane grater. Made from easy-to-clean stainless steel, this grater is a very compact tool for grating cheese, wasabi, ginger or anything else that fits into the approx. 7 cm wide grater cavity. The grater is very elegantly designed and the designers at h.concept have placed a lot of emphasis on its usability. The area opposite the grater side serves as a collecting area for everything you have chopped up with the grater.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €59.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Shipping to most EU countries costs a flat rate of €9.90 and is free of charge for orders over €85. All shipping details

How can I return products?

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
