Description

RIKIKI · Out of Alltag

The whole of 2027 — one sheet, three screen-print colours, every last holiday.

The rikiki A2 wall calendar puts the entire year 2027 on a single DIN A2 sheet — 59.4 × 42 cm, every week, every holiday, every moon phase at a single glance. Printed in a 3-colour screen print: neon coral for the weekend days, gold for the fine accents, black for the weekdays — a neon coral that no monitor can reproduce. rikiki is a Düsseldorf design label from the Flingern district that treats calendars as objects, not consumables. The calendar arrives rolled in a black tube: a gift that announces itself on arrival.

What’s the difference between this and the rikiki strip calendar?

The strip calendar (12 × 69 cm) is for the wall space next to a door frame — one sheet per month, narrow. The A2 wall calendar shows the full year on a single DIN A2 sheet (59.4 × 42 cm) — with room for all appointments at a single glance. Planners need the A2. Narrow-wall aesthetes need the strip.

What does the neon coral actually look like?

The monitor can’t reproduce it. The neon coral of this calendar is a physical screen-print ink — all weekend days glow in it. Gold marks the fine details, black holds the weekdays readable. On a wall: a planning tool that works as a design object.

Is this calendar in English?

All content is in German — holidays, moon phase labels, and notes. The calendar is designed for German-speaking walls. For international buyers, the structure (colour-coded weekdays, layout) is clear at a glance; the editorial content is in German.

Does it come with a frame?

No — the calendar is delivered rolled in a black tube. A matching black wooden frame with an MDF backing board (no glass) is available separately — the solid backing means you can actually write on the calendar while it hangs. The frame is reusable year after year, or with a glass pane as a picture frame.

What’s in it besides dates?

Calendar weeks, national German holidays, all 16 state-level holidays individually marked, moon phases, clock changes, start of summer and winter, and meteorological extras like the Dog Days of summer.
