Rilla Alexander

Rilla Alexander is a designer and illustrator whose work has appeared on everything from toys and tea cups to busses and buildings. She explores creativity and ideas through graphic forms and bold colors and inspires both children and adults through books, workshops and exhibitions. Her characters dance across Museo del Prado’s ceramics and stationery, populate Swiss credit cards and sleep on the wall of a Copenhagen hotel (where she replaced the bed with a tent).

Rilla’s picture books includeThe Best Book in the World,Her Idea,andA Bear Sat On My Porch Today. Her illustrations forSwarm of Bees, a book she made with Lemony Snicket, were done using a combination of rubber stamps, ink and digital collage. Originally from Australia, she has lived in London, Berlin, and Portland, and currently calls LA home.

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.

The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

A different delivery time is displayed

If a product can only be pre-ordered or is not in stock, it cannot be delivered immediately. In this case, you can find the deviating delivery time on the product page. As soon as we have the product available and dispatched again, you will receive it within the delivery times stated above.

Shape Stamps - designed by Rilla Alexander for Areaware - invite you to see more than the shapes in front of you. Layer, overlap and connect their various forms to create characters, landscapes, or still life masterpieces. Dab and press however you see fit to imagine endless designs and compositions.

Includes thirteen different stamp shapes and five ink pads. Fun tip: Wipe your stamps with a damp cloth between uses to keep them clean and avoid mixing colors on the ink pad. This will ensure each mark you make is bright and clear.

Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Warning: The product contains small parts and is therefore only suitable for children over 3 years!

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
