Description

The Salt Egg is a registered Danish salt cellar by Spring Copenhagen made out of ash wood. The drawings for the egg are nearly fifty years old, but due to problems with shaping, the egg was never put into production. Spring Copenhagen has recently changed that.

The Salt egg is an exceptional design piece and a very natural companion to Tonn-P’s The Pepper Bird.

Of course, you can also use this wooden egg as a small storage & gift box for your jewelry or other small things.

Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen (1925-2004) was a self-taught Danish designer and inventor who created a wide range of designs and products in wood, plastic and metal under the name of Tonn-P. Tonn-P’s creations were characterized by a confident expression and designed to be harmonious, functional and contemporary.
