Spring Birds Bottle Opener are a functional and decorative kitchen tool that is part of the Spring Birds kitchen gadget series by Spring Copenhagen, designed by mencke&vagnby.

It's a functional and decorative tool, that is useful in the kitchen, on the table and in the living room. Use the beak to open your bottle.

Spring Bird is simple design with soft styling that ensures that the bottle opener is comfortable to use.

Spring Birds bottle openers are unique wooden and stainless steel products, and there may be minor variations from product to product. For better finish and maintenance use beeswax occasionally on all our wooden products. It is not a toy, keep it away from children.

Do not put Spring Birds in the dishwasher: hand-wash only!

mencke&vagnby is the design duo Karina Mencke (1977) and Marcus Vagnby (1981). They met at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where they developed both a romantic and professional partnership. In time, they founded Studio mencke&vagnby. The couple question everything - each other, the design and the process - and they both believe that by asking questions they create the development that provides a usable, functional and aesthetic product. Their design arises through a unique creative process, where the duo asks questions, tests ideas and reveals an understanding of both the past and the present. They design timeless, high-quality products because this extends the product's life cycle - and helps protect the environment and our planet. If you order our design products by 2 p.m., you will usually receive them within 1-2 working days.

All later orders on working days, which only contain products that can be delivered immediately, will be dispatched on the following working day

Europe - free shipping from 85 € order value

Products that can be delivered immediately will usually be with you within 4-6 working days.

How is my order shipped?

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €59.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Shipping to most EU countries costs a flat rate of €9.90 and is free of charge for orders over €85. All shipping details

How can I return products?

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

A different delivery time is displayed

If a product can only be pre-ordered or is not in stock, it cannot be delivered immediately. In this case, you can find the deviating delivery time on the product page. As soon as we have the product available and dispatched again, you will receive it within the delivery times stated above.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
