Frequently asked questions
Which images are included?
“Poolside Gossip” – Slim Aarons' best-known photograph from Palm Springs; “Dining Al Fresco on Capri” – lunch above the Mediterranean; and “Christmas Swim” – his wife Lorita in a pool above Los Angeles. Piecework also offers all three images individually as 1,000-piece puzzles.
Who is “Slim Aarons Trio Set” a good gift for?
For puzzle lovers, design enthusiasts, armchair travellers and anyone who could use a little holiday. A Christmas or birthday gift that fills three evenings at once.
How challenging is the puzzle?
300 pieces per image is ideal for a relaxed evening – one puzzle per session, three destinations in a row. The thick board pieces sit well in the hand and fit together cleanly. A lovely way in for people who rarely puzzle.
Can I frame the finished puzzle?
Yes. Fixed with puzzle glue, the three images can also be framed as a small picture series. That way the image stays on the wall long after the last piece.
Do I need to wrap the puzzle?
No. The box is designed to work without wrapping paper – add a ribbon and a card and you're done. After puzzling, it looks good on a shelf.
Is the puzzle suitable for children?
Piecework designs its puzzles for adults and does not recommend them for children. For an evening at the table with teenagers or the whole family, however, it is ideal.
Is the puzzle suitable as a corporate gift?
Yes – a puzzle gives screen-free time and is remembered. Click “Corporate Gifts” in the top menu — all details on quantities, terms and personal advice are there.
