Description

Solid, simple, and ceremonial, with an integrated tray to catch wax drippings and a safe resting place for a used match while it is still hot. The Menorah Candleholder - designed by Josh Owen for Areaware - is made of solid cast iron and has the heft expected of such material.

The weight gives it a sense of solidity. There is an honesty in the singularity of the iron material which suggests this object could age and continue to look even more beautiful as it acquires a patina from continual use.

Menorah is included in the permanent collection of The National Museum of American Jewish History.

Designer

Josh Owen is an internationally renowned industrial designer, educator and, author. He is the president of his eponymous design studio, Josh Owen LLC and is a Distinguished Professor of Industrial Design at The Rochester Institute of Technology. Owen's projects are produced by major manufacturers and have won many awards. His work is included in the permanent design collections of the ADAM Brussels Design Museum, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Chicago Athenaeum, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Denver Art Museum, the Musee des beaux-arts de Montreal, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Museum of American Jewish History and the Taiwan Design Museum. He is the author of the book Lenses for Design and the forthcoming book Design for Study.

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.

The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

How can I return products?

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
