How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.

The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Description

A Sardinenheber sardine lifter is a special cutlery used for removing sardines from cans.

Sardine lifters were made by many smaller manufacturers and renowned cutlery manufacturers in the last century, but have been somewhat forgotten in recent decades.

In 2023, Maritime Zeitkapseln has re-created a handmade, limited first edition of 50 sardine lifters in collaboration with Hanau/Germany based silversmith Martin Hardt to bring this object of table culture back to the tables of all sardine lovers.

After the limited first edition, the sardine lifters are now regularly produced in vintage editions.

The Sardine Lifter consists of a 925 sterling silver handle stem and a riveted connected ladle - the name given to the part used to lift the sardines out of the can - made of stainless steel. The square handle was signed with silver stamps, the so-called hallmarks, so that even in a hundred years it can be attributed to the place and date of manufacture and the silversmith. Our sardine lifter is the combination of craftsmanship, reduced, puristic design and functionality.

The sardine lifter is delivered in a high-quality slipcover box made of black cardboard, blind embossed to emphasize its exclusivity.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.
