How much are the shipping costs?
Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.
The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.
Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

How can I return products?
You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information
If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.
A different delivery time is displayed
If a product can only be pre-ordered or is not in stock, it cannot be delivered immediately. In this case, you can find the deviating delivery time on the product page. As soon as we have the product available and dispatched again, you will receive it within the delivery times stated above.

Lemon Lily: Dutch Design you can actually touch
Lemon Lily is a Dutch design label that develops handmade home objects in solid beech wood from Arnhem. Not mass production, not disposable decor — each piece is worked by hand from FSC-certified European beech wood and finished with a matte lacquer that doesn’t emphasise fingerprints and ages with the wood. The Cone High belongs to the Cone series alongside the Candleholder Cone Low (25 cm) — both follow the same clear formal language, can be combined, and share the same bore diameter for standard dinner candles at Ø 2.2 cm.

Which candles fit the Cone High?
The Cone High is designed exclusively for dinner candles with a diameter of Ø 2.2 cm — the standard size for commercially available taper candles. Tea lights and pillar candles do not fit. If you’re unsure about your candles: Lemon Lily also offers matching taper candles that you can order directly alongside the holder.
What’s the difference between the “Natural” colour and the lacquered versions?
The Natural variant is not lacquered — it shows the raw, natural beech wood with visible grain and a warm, light wood tone. The colour variants carry an opaque matte lacquer that covers the wood completely. The Natural version is priced at €63 (vs. €59 for colour versions) and has a different surface feel — softer, purer, more organic.
Can I combine multiple Cone Highs in different colours?
Yes — that is very much the intention. Lemon Lily developed the colour palette so that the colours work both as individual statements and in groups. Monochrome (three in the same colour) is a safe and striking concept; mixing two to three colours that share a similar tone (e.g. Terra, Rose and Yellow) creates a cohesive picture. On different heights (Cone High + Cone Low), the combination becomes even more interesting.
How do I clean the candleholder when wax has dripped in?
The simplest method: hot water. Wax dissolves easily from the bore at 60–80°C. Alternatively, let the wax cool completely and press it out gently. No abrasives, no solvent-based cleaners on the colour variants — these can damage the matte lacquer surface. For the Natural variant the same applies: no prolonged soaking or immersion in water.
Does the Cone High work with the Cone Low — can they be combined?
Yes. The Candleholder Cone Low by Lemon Lily is 25 cm high and shares the same bore diameter (Ø 2.2 cm), the same formal language and the same colour palette. Both are explicitly designed as complementary pieces. A combination of one Cone High (32 cm) and one or two Cone Lows (25 cm) creates a balanced, spatially interesting ensemble.
