Description

A summer day in France, along the river.

From litter washed ashore - a plastic bottle, a plastic bag, some twigs - the characteristic of a sailing boat emerged while tinkering.

Playing children immediately recognized the silhouette and gratefully took it with them. From this intuitive design, the Bottle Boat by Floris Hovers for Ikonic took its stylized form. An empty (shampoo) bottle as the hull, a colorful sail and a rubber band. Partly reused, but not designed from a sustainable thought. Here it's all about semantics.

With relatively small interventions, existing products can take on a completely different meaning.

Package contents: 1 sail, 1 wooden mast, 1 wooden mast foot, 1 wooden keel and 1 elastic band - no bottle included.
The sail is available in 8 colors: white, gray, yellow, orange, neon orange, purple, aqua green, blue.

Floris Hovers

Designer and artist Floris Hovers has built up a colorful, playful and surprising oeuvre over the past sixteen years with a completely unique signature. Floris Hovers graduated from the Design Academy and has since been an independent designer of a wide range of products: toys, furniture and other interior products and unique items. His designs are produced and marketed by himself or by reputable producers.

With his autonomous work, prototypes, miniatures and product designs, Floris Hovers invites you time and again into his almost perfectly simple world where there is plenty of room for your own imagination as an observer.

Floris Hovers lives in Raamsdonk and works in Raamsdonksveer, where he also grew up. After a basic course in engineering and a training in advertising and presentation technology in Utrecht, he graduated in 2004 from the Design Academy Eindhoven. In 2006 he founded his own design studio, five years later he was awarded the Sanoma Woonaward "Young Talent." He has also taught at the AKV | St. Joost, specializing in Spatial Design, and currently teaches color and composition at the Design Academy Eindhoven. He regularly gives workshops and guest lectures at home and abroad.

Your order will be shipped via our partners DHL & UPS within Germany and the EU.

How much are the shipping costs?

Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €59.

Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

Shipping to most EU countries costs a flat rate of €9.90 and is free of charge for orders over €85. All shipping details

How can I return products?

You can return ordered products up to 30 days after receipt of your order. More information

If you would like to return an item, send us an email to orders@charlesandmarie.com with the order number and information about which products you would like to return. Please pay for the return shipping - this of course does not apply to justified complaints.

A different delivery time is displayed

If a product can only be pre-ordered or is not in stock, it cannot be delivered immediately. In this case, you can find the deviating delivery time on the product page. As soon as we have the product available and dispatched again, you will receive it within the delivery times stated above.

How fast is shipping and where is my order?

In general, all orders are processed on the same day. This means that you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately after you have placed your order.

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. CET will be shipped the same working day if all the products ordered are in stock. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

As soon as your order is dispatched and handed over to our logistics partner, you will receive tracking information via email via the DHL, DPD or UPS systems. You simply click on the tracking code in this email and you can immediately follow the status of your delivery.

Do you have a sold-out product with you? Delivery time pre-ordered? Well, such orders will be shipped as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse. Please note the delivery time indicated for the product.
